    theres probably already a thread about this but what the hell ,, would like to know what is the best recording software for windows bar audacity safe

    the best is a matter of preference
    but whats wrong with audacity? all u need is something that will record audio and export as wav/mp3. audacity does this perfectly.

    other ones = goldwave, peak pro

    2 rca cables into a rca to aux adapter. aux adapter into line in. Windows Movie Maker "Narrate Timeline".

    Easiest way of doing it ^

    Not necessary the best way though.

    Try Goldwave, I've been using it since the 90's and it's always served me well.
