What software do you guys use for recording your mixes??

I was using nero wave editor but that doesn't allow you to save at 192 or 320kbps - unless i'm missing something lol, then downloaded the free version of goldwave purely for the ability to save at a much better quality.

anybody know and good cheap alternatives?

oh and should this be in the production section???

You can use Windows Recorder and some free encoder afterwards...

How bout if your burning a mix that is streaming... If the quality isnt the greatest... how do you enhance the quality... because i have my computer hooked up to my receiver and a component cd burner hooked to that... just wondering so I can record live sets as they are being played

Ive seen people complaining about this on other boards, along with people trying to make a recording of those streams at 192, which does nothing much except make the file bigger.:piss:

I havent tried this yet... I mean most people only stream up to 128.. Right? But is there a way to like, enhance the sound quality.. I know nothing about that.
