I was just about to bang out a new mix but I keep getting too much feedback when I record. I had to retire my old PC and I'm trying to record on one of my laptops. I'm using Sony Sound Forge 9.0 and I can't seem to get rid of the feedback. I've tried grounding everything (decks, mixer, amp, sub, etc..) but it doesn't make a difference. Does anyone know of a USB style recording device that I could get... Any suggestions will help, as I am rowdy as fuck lol

plug your laptop into an extension thats got the earth removed.

*edit* or if your batteries good on the laptop unplug it. but see the midmix risks.....
