Recording- CBR vs VBR vs ABR

    I got a new piece of recording software and where i choose what bitrate i want it has a choice of CBR, ABR and VBR. Whats the difference? And what one should i use to record a mix for? Cheers

    Constant Bit Rate
    Variable Bit Rate
    Average Bit Rate

    I would say go for the CBR

    CBR all the way ;)

    Also CBR for using CDJs too, VBR takes like a million times longer to load and skip thru, ABR is barely used!
