How to I record audio from the midi channel. I have midi data and can program in notes but have no clue about bouncing it down to audio. There is no bounce to audio option for this.

Cheers.

You may be getting confused with MIDI vs. Audio.

In your DAW, you probably have two tracks setup: one MIDI track the sends/receives MIDI messages from your Virus C and one audio track that's monitor-enabled and has inputs 1 & 2 set to where the Virus' outputs have been inserted.

In order to bounce a sound, you first have to record the audio input from your external instruments outputs. Enable recording on the audio track (the one that is monitor-enabled and is receiving the audio from your Virus C), and then hit the play button on your transport control. Now you will find that your MIDI notes will "play" and consequently the audio from your Virus C will be recorded into the audio track. Press stop once you've finished–and be sure that to allow extra recording time if your particular sound has a tail or heavy release. Now bounce, process and keep the creative flow moving. :)

Cheers.
