I have found loads of quality artists just from other people's posts on here, stuff that my normal day to day life wouldn't have introduced me to. So, if you own an album you think EVERYONE should listen to, but its not well known give us a shout in here....... or links to myspace etc......

I Recommend 'Rebel Soul Collective'...... a band from Nottingham, only been together a year or so, but already making a name....... here is the bands description on last fm......

Rebel Soul Collective have sculpted their sound drawing energy from bands like Primal Scream, Late of the Pier, the Rapture, Kasabian, TV on the Radio and the Go! Team.

The current sound of the band would be best described as a mixture of electronic dance and swaggering rock and roll that maintains the tension between these genres. Their sound is varied yet cohesive, complex yet focused.

Since forming in 2008, they’‘ve played all over the country, in places as exciting and culturally diverse as Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool, London and Manchester, and played with some ace bands such as Detroit Social Club, Blah Blah Blah, This is Seb Clarke, the Old Romantic Killer Band and the Thirst.

I saw these last Saturday at Bodega Social in Notts, awesome band who, imo, will make it in the scene VERY soon!!!

Cheers mate, yeah i do pretty much the same as you on myspace..... my itunes library is FULL of artists/bands/producers that without word of mouth from mates and just 'stumbling upon' on the net i'd never have heard of

Did people start listening to Kyle Hall yet? Really should in my opinion. Every tune he does is awesome.

Hes a bit of a man for all seasons. Got releases on Hyperdub, one coming on Non Plus, plus he does a bit of hip hop and deep house.

got no other info on the 'person' apart from the Myspace but big tunes all the same. Sort of a Jimmy Edgarish vibe to them- Chic Anatomy and Veiled Grace...
