Reason 4 render settings? Or other softwares to render?

Hi

I use Reason 4 and when I export a song as wav. file, then it always sounds different in itunes than in reason. Why? In reason its brighter and cleaner, in itunes it sounds likes if you would play the tune trough a pipe or something. lol

Or do you recommend other softwares to render my song?

I dont know if you mean this but I do:

Sample Rate: 44'100khz
Bit Depth: 16
(with Dither box ticked)

i experienced this too when exporting in reason but the other way around, whenever I export I always choose 24bit-48000, and when used these settings for resampling, the resampled sample, sounds A BIT brighter and cleaner than in reason at first...
for my situation, one problem can be that Reason works at 16 bit, another problem can be, that I export with limiters and compressors on at the master bus, so when resampling, the limiters and compressors act twice, hence, the sound changes.

it could be that you have an EQ or normalisation effect running in itunes, i'm a reason user and i had this issue.

or is it an iplod issue... dulling down a wav to mp4 (ie cutting out the high freq.?)

yh try it out ina diffrent media player, like vlc or somthing

I tried it with windows media player and it sounds allright!
I think iTunes just cant handle my awesomeness.

i tunes is a bitch for whacking on auto EQing and processing but it can all be turned off
if you open the preferences ;P
