Reason 4 - beginner

i have just got reason 4 and havent done much prducing before, i was wondering how u actually transfer a beat u make on redrum (or any other sounds u want)to the place below the rack??? schoolboy question i know

click on the redrum in the rack, make a beat, right click on the redrum and COPY PATTERN TO TRACK

dont use redrum its shit

just load each sample into its own NN19 rather than each little bit on the redrum

that way you have total control over the eq and various effects you add to it

or, load in the samples you want into redrum, make your patterns- copy to track.

Then make an NNXT and load the same sample in and drag n drop the track info from the redrum to your NNXT channel.

That way you can tinker with the sample to your hearts content, and if you want to modify the pattern just go back to redrum, alter it, then copy to track and move it again.
The best of both worlds.
