Right, ive made a track and i want the audio file, ive tryed exporting the song but it ends up absolutely huge, my m8 said i have to publish it first and then do summet else? im totaly lost atm :( some1 help!

also whats best recommended for sample rate and bit depth? dither? lol

Sounds like you want to stick it on an ipod or upload it to soundcloud etc. Export as audio, 96Khz sample rate, 24 bit, the output ends up huge yes. Next open up the produced .wav file in something like audacity, set the preferences (set the bitrate to 128 or 320) and export it as an mp3. Should get the size down to something like 10MB for you.

after i export as audio file, i just right click, and open in iTunes. There i can easily convert to mp3 and throw it on my iPod. I'm sure thats what most people do.

Why doesn't Reason have the option to export as mp3 in the first place? I know GarageBand does that.

you could probably get away with exporting it as a 44.1khz wav. most mp3s, especially lower bitrates, will chop off anything higher than 16khz, so 96khz is pretty much overkill.
