Sick mix Manwell. Was it all on vinyl?

Like Stu said, Messiah > Ben was gully vibes, as was Black Hawk Down > Scarecrow. Haven't heard Black Hawk Down for fucking ages, might have to dig out my promo :D

    Lovely stuff x

Yo Dan, gave it a whirl a few days ago and this mix is huge! Loved your selection, it was refreshing to hear a mix based on a bunch of classics rather than recent RAM releases plus the pace of the mix was really suiting me as well. Favourite parts had to be:

    Audio - Combust
    Bad Company - Planet Dust

    Sub Focus - Swamp Thing
    René LaVice - Freudian
    Siren - Snorkel
    Capone - Friday
Audio & Donny - Horribly Ribbed
    Bad Company - The Nine

    Spectrasoul - Always
Wots My Code - Dubplate (Total Science Remix)

dBridge & Vegas - True Romance
    Dkay & Lee - Wax’d

That bit from Swamp Thing to The Nine was too good. And teasing Dubplate into Always, uuuurrgggghhh! Good luck mate :)

Tight contest with a couple of outstanding submissions, your mix sits nicely there with the distinctive selecta you deliver, properly dropped the old school way!
Best of luck with this competition!

Did I never leave feedback on this? Jeez. I have given this mix a ton of listens, actually, Dan. Let's see:

Loved how the energy level is cranked to 11 from the get-go, especially with the bit with Incessant, massive tune. It eventually tapers off a bit and chills out by the end, and that seems like a great progression. Gonna say the big with Brown Paper Bag was definitely ambitious, dug it. Favorite bit had to be from Messiah through to Scarecrow. Rewound on that a bunch of times. The ending was also superb, man, you really fit Twenty Questions into the mix gloriously. The mixing was tight as well, levels weren't off at all, it sounded great. Keep it up!

Just had a flick through. Tracklist is fire and this is first thing I'm listening to monday morning at work. Gotta admit the Messiah>Ben mix gave me heavy D.
