Quick question on vocals

how do you layer vocals over a track from acapellas? quick question and hopefully someone can help. thanks

Does your acapella tune have any sort of timing in it, like even a little tic-tic-tic-tic sound to get the record in time with your beats?

that way its easy.

Cos if not you just havta swing it in and try to get it in time karaoke style, play by ear so to speak.

or if u have the proper version on the same side of the record u time it up from that, unless they are being bastards the timing should be the same

cubasesx2, acid 4 reason 2.5

best thing to do would be to import it into Acid, beatmap it from the soft clicks, timestretch it to the tempo you want then export >< import into cubase
