Hey Guys!

How do you warp your tracks for live sets in ableton?
Is it just to be patient and warp every beat? (sounds very glitchi if u miss some)
another way is to skip warping and map the nudge buttons and set the Quantization to none and mix it that way but then u cant get it precisely. :|

Or do you guys use some other technique?

if you are mixing single BPM tracks, then load up your sample, switch warp mode to Complex, create a warp marker at the very start of the track (or on the first beat), right click the warp marker and do 'warp from here straight', then manually set the BPM, adjust it until everything matches up right, for eg Kick on first beat of the bar, snares on 1:2/1:4 or whatever depending on the break/beat, sorted :)

unless you have a good dj midi interface with a good jog wheel, dont do nudge adjustments

you might want to load up a pre-warped drum beat to match your tracks up to
