Question about setting up a studio...

Okay...here's the deal. Currently I do all my production work exclusivley on my PC. I want to branch out a little and run some hardware, like a mixing desk, maybe even a synth or two...and definatley a real MIDI device (probably a Korg MS2000, which is also a synth of course).

In all honesty, I am clueless about this stuff. Does anyone have any links to some good tutorials or info on perhaps a basic setup, or how to go about selecting your hardware, etc?

http://www.midi.com/ theres a few things here but not much. If your going to start moving onto outboard your best bet is to get a desk then some sort of midi sound module. Then you can move onto the synths and samplers. thats how i started anyway.

Thats where you want to look if you want to buy. But make sure you research what you want.
