question about 1200's

    can someone explain to me what the quartz lock does on the mk5's. should it be in locked position or not?

    When you press quartz lock it locks the pitch to zero so the pitch slider does nothing at all. You won't want this on when you're trying to mix!

    if you're at +4 and you hit the quartz lock button does it do anything?

    Yes the pitch will go back to zero

    it always goes back to zero. unless ur decks are fucked of course :D

    the only thing i use quartz locks for r resettin the pitch to 0 when scratchin.....if ya at +6 set for the next tune it makes it a little more difficult to get certain cuts in :)
