no wonder i like dnb i was listening to this at six.lol
^^ THAT..searched it for ages and found it on some obscure sampler
i also began producing on music 2000 or whatever it was called.lol
well i say producing more like making shite tunes on a ps1 game.
never noticed there was a dnb track in tony hawks haha
It wasn´t that bad imo, I´m really pissed that my main memory card broke..I did some stompin Snapshot, The 1 and Warhead remixes
haha i had some tunes that i thought were cool but i recon if i herd them now i would deny i made them
Rollcage was a classic ps game.
didnt rollcage have ed rush an optical and aphrodite tunes?
the breakbeats in music 2000 were really shit tho..totally unusable, except if you high pitched them, then they were quite okay
feel so old now.lol
dont forget gta 3
msx fm - moving shadows 01.1 cd mixed by timecode
just realised why i like acid techno music because of this
this tune got me into stoner rock i guess
sounds like old school rave music from the early 90s
i know its ps2 but it sums up my childhood and its moving shadow.
couldnt really get into gta 1, probably because i was like 8.
yeah but its usually the japanese that made the music for the game, in house kind of thing, or they outsource it to some company, in japan, and when japanese people get their hands on dnb, it usually comes out pretty fking weird. anyone remember the game monkey panic for ps1? had a dnb soundtrack with strickly 808 drums and game styled, like happy nintendo chords and melodies over it. was fun for like 10 minutes then i had to turn it off for fear of projectile vomiting.
game music is a genre unto itself, can be quite fun, but normally severlely annoying, like that uber happy enthusiastic clothes store assisntant just want her and her manic smile to go away, why is she asking me my mothers maiden name, fking weirdo
yea man msx was sick also game fm think thats wat its called
i had gta on psp think there was another msx and game show but i may be wrong?
soundtracks for games these days are fucking mindblowing would put most films too shame
correct me if im wrong here but game music is usually original compositions done for the game right? cept for the radio on GTA of course. i think the moving shadow station on there did a lot for the music actually.
The hip hop tune from gta1 was great, I remember you could put the disc in a cd player and just play the track, remember copying it tape loads of time and caining it, was probably some of the first hip hop I had.
And I've just found this tune too, really like this now. Think I'm going to have to dl thps 1 and 2 and the gta soundtracks now.
im going to see vinylgroover and druid 2nite oldskool sets.. i need to tell someone
