PROJECT K - Leave Everything Behind (break or dnb?)

Definitely not dnb. i happen to be a huge breaks fan, which is what this is, breaks are what got me into the whole EDM thing years ago, even though i haven't made a breaks track in years.. Might be time for me to make one :) Once i bought my first set of decks and learned to mix, my buddy at the time used to spin dnb, i couldn't stand it.. I was rolling nuts one night at a party, the party was winding down and everybody was just chilling, my buddy wanted to spin some records and he slapped on some old school hive (i think) and told me to try mixing it, well the rest is history with my passion for drumnbass lol, i found it easier to mix than any other genre but i still love breaks...

Kick--smack-kick-smack = breaks...

Next time you load up a loop to chuck in, chop that bitch up and treat/process each hit in it's own lane... The more control you have over each individual sound, the better off you are.. You can then add some slight compression later to glue it back together...

It's a good start though...
