    Sucks about the sample-free part; maybe they'd take it if the producer cleared the rights w/ the content holders. But this a great idea; I'd like to try and make something for submission someday.

    Surely they mean samples that haven't been properly cleared.

    If they meant free of all samples (i.e. Royalty Free) there would be quite a few tunes with 808 hits and shallow sounding field recordings. :)
