problem with downloading wavs off net

    ive downloaded some wav files off the net and when i went to upload em into cubases audio pool they wouldnt drag into the audio pool .

    does anyone know why?

    i cant work it out.

    Are you talking about drag-n-drop ting?

    If so, try just the simple 'import audio' style..

    they're probably encoded with some dodgy compression algorith.... afaik cubase (and most other sequencers) can only import wavs encoded as raw PCM.... so my suggestion... open the wavs in wavelab / soundforge / whatever, and re-save them as raw PCM
