Just finished mixdown of this dark and deep drum & bass track named 'Breaking free'.
I produced this entire track using headphones so it would probably need some mastering

But I would love to hear from you guys what you think of the overall vibes/sound

I felt the synths were not as dark as i was expecting sounded almost mainstream no bad thing there though. it all sounds pretty good as far as i can tell levels are fine mabye a little bit quiet, some of the synths used seem a little bit average but your strong bassline idea and melody make up for that.

This reminds of the type of dance tune they play on the advert for an action film

Hehe yeah I think "dark and deep" might have been a little wrong described, I was referring to the soundscape, the melody isn't really that dark
