I've just been trying out this new DAW, very impressed so far. I've been a loyal Ableton user since version 6 but version 8 has been quite a headache, unstable, etc.

It feels fully featured but very quick, stable and to the point. Basically looks like Logic and Cubase, etc but without the bloat.

I'm actually thinking of moving completely to it though it's still at 1.0. Give it a go, well worth trying out.

I agree, Its pretty good, but I cant bring myself to move from Ableton 8 to it. You have stability problems with live 8? mines completely robust. way more stable than any other version of 7 I've had so far. Have you tried deleting your prefs file?

I was having problems with 8 initially, but after deleting that file its rock solid now, I havent had a crash in months.

Its worth a go. Live 8 is still pretty hard to beat imho, and worth trying to fix =P
