I get what you tried to say to the OP, Deegs, but I think that even though this is a forum about an electronic music genre, people should only benefit if they'd learn and practice on how to play the real drum kit, and also how a drum kit works. That's why I always watch some masterclasses about drums on youtube. You can learn a lot about drum programming that way.
