Well these were the first two I ever produced, on a demo version of Reason, so it shut down after 20mins and you couldn't save, so all done in 20mins

this is my latest, pretty decent

Been producing for 4-5 years now, I started out on Acid Music Studio 6 and spend endless nights on websites looking for freeware for synths and whatnot - then went onto FL and then onto reason 4 (huge change - was lost for about a month lol)

Definitely not my first track... but this is my first "DnB" track.
Started back in '99.. and lol... it took me ten years to make a "DnB" track :clown:

"Overdue" is my first one... and shortly after that, I made my second dnb track, "Contagious".

160 seemed cool for those two (have another at that BPM that's unfinished), but I've now settled on 176 for all future DnB projects.


I'm pretty happy with how they came out... also, I don't think the PROD is all that bad considering I hadn't sequenced anything in full since '06 when I made these ^.
 
I havnt got any of my old shit around anymore. lost the CD while moving, and my old PC took a crap about 6 months ago.

All I have now is whats on my soundcloud account. Which is ok but nothing great.

As for the discussion thats happening here about what programs we 1st started out with, well I'm gonna throw a wild card into the works here...........

.....The 1st program that got me into creating my own music was............MTV Music Generator on the Playstation!!!!!!!

music on the playstation was sick it kinda got me into producing althoug i had a gap of a few years from playin that before actually using a proper program
 
I remember a thing called "Ejay music maker". You had presets of riffs that were all in the same key, bass, synths, trancelines, drums... Whatever you dragged to your timeline it always sounded good. You had premade melodies, premade beats, premade engineering and all that. Was simple as fuck.

I never used that tho, was a freebie for a friend of mine i think.
