i don't vote because i'm too afraid everything is gonna be jump up, what with no t/l's and no names to the mixes, i don't wanna take the chance on listening to a mix with 5 hazard tunes, 3 original sin tunes, 1 original sin remix or ra, a couple of pleasure tunes maybe some shimmah, taxman and with a classic or two ridden over the top. it's just not speaking to me. you need to have some distinction on comps and at least allow tracklists. i would vote in a heavy mix comp or a liquid mix comp because people are gonna put there own style and flair into it, but a comp with 2 heavy mixes and 6/7 jump up mixes is just not an even playing field in my opinion. anyone can do a set of anthem bashing, it's harder to really put yourself thru the mix with the tunes. i wanna see some personality, know what i mean?

i know i can be a cunt sometimes, but i hate jump up, sorry*

Yeah think safety hit the nail on the head - no one is gonna want to download and then listen to loads of mixes that they're not really gonna be into...

If there's like 8 entries you could end up listening to 8 hours of the kind of DnB that you're not into...

Can anyone thin of a way round this? Dedicated judges who volunteer to listen to it all, or maybe make the mixes shorter so people would be more likely to D/L and listen to them? I dunno man, I can't think of a way round it...

exactly bad ace. we need diversity.

the only way really is to have different comps run by different people into differrent things. let the jump up boys run and judge their own comp. then everyone else can a have a comp where you try and put across your own unique style with a mix that goes other places than whomp whomp wubba whomp*
