Playing Out, Where to Start?

    Really want to start playing some sets out and about now, but really havent got a clue where my best bet to start is, who to talk to etc :confused:

    Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Yeah just drop by some mixes to local promoters, look out for any open deck nights, facebook is all you need!

    Go to as many local Drum and Bass nights as you can and meet the promoter face to face. Give them a mix CD and get to know them. You might have to do this more than once for each promoter for them to take notice of you. There are umpteen other new DJs trying to get a set as well.

    Yeah good point, but they need to be quality. Don't go making anything simalar to Clipz's stuff!!!!

    nothing like turning a chance to give good advice into a unneeded diss on someones music. if clipz didn't make music like clipz noone here would know who he was.

    go to local nights and bother the piss out of the promoters until they book you to get you to shut the fuck up. Thats what I did :p
