Not the first time this has happened though. If you want to buy records on a regular basis you need to keep on top of releases and when they are coming out otherwise you get stung by these bastards.

Lol 300 dollars! Looked at the release info and never heard any of those records pressed...anything good on there [MENTION=87424]Mr_Whitty[/MENTION] ?

What makes me laugh is throwaway music is valued at prices that is insane, yet you could pick up a classic album that will stand the test of time for a decent price. Some people have absolutely no idea these days.

I think the problem with these 4 plate releases is that the labels are far more reluctant to repress as it is more of a financial gamble. The labels will only repress a single 12" if they know it will sell out again so with a 4x12" release, where the stakes are 4 times as high, far fewer labels will consider a repress. Especially when they will have loads more new music queued up in a release schedule which will be far more likely too sell out. This is why albums like underground sonics, calibre albums, platinum breaks and even some 2x12" eps will always become more valuable and this is why loads of labels like dispatch and samurai will split albums and EPs into 2 or 3 parts

Marcus Intalex hasnt repressed any of the recent Soulr releases. thats why the last 10 releases or so have more than doubled in value. God knows why he hasnt repressed Bungle aura astral travel though. that would sell out again in an instant

yeah this release was too much. make it clear, when, gods neighbour, archive, timelines and joanies theme all on the vinyl probably justifies the £70 price tag
