am I the only one who thinks that looks like some real dumb-arse shit?

I mean. Rose Byrne and all that, but Tarantino's dialogue mostly just gives me the shits. I reckon he's way over-rated.

IMO

I want Machete as well.

Looks a lot better than most Rodriguez films, apart from Sin City. Rodriguez uses more CGI than Lucas. That may be fine for Sin City & Spy Kids but not for a 'grindhouse' film.

Tarantino didn't use CGI for Deathproof, nuff said.

I don't like Tarantino for blood and gore, he's always been better for humor and dialogue, which is why I'll always rate Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown higher than any other film he's made or associated with.
Death Proof and Planet Terror were entertaining, but nothing more.

If tarantino made lager it would probably be the best in the world.
If Tarantino made lager it would talk back to you when you spewed, and then tell some story about how last week it went to Paris and got drunk by John Travolta at a MacDonalds.

what?

i think death proof and the others, is in the vein of kill bill, as it is lagely referential, but this time to a genre of films i have not been exposed to at all. it was cool and as you know i do like aussies but in that movie she was totally malplaced.

yes there were alot of references to pulp fiction rezy dawgs all that. that Ausie was infact Uma Thermons Stunt double from kill bill.
to give props for the two of them for always picking the best actor for the part...i think if youll peep the bonus features of Rodriguez...he dosnt right hardly any dialog..he just picks the charector/actor...puts them in balls deep!!

ill give them both another watch

Thats why i like Death Proof best..its like if you like Tarantino you'll love it...its pure Tarantino...long dialogues about nothing much,......its great!..more like a play than a film...

Planet Terro was a full on cartoon really...funny..but no where near as good!
