Just got new styluses, and noticed the cart doesnt sit on the record 100% straight so isnt staying in the grooves very well when cueing/cutting etc

i.e. like this - // - rather than this - l l -

Ne1 know how the pivot/swivel the tonearm on a mkII 1210?
 
Yeah you may need to adjust the angle of the carts on your headshell. Or if they are new stylii they may need breaking in.
 
Stanton 500 v3s, Thats what I thought at first, but the carts are 100%/parallel with the headshell, I noticed that the slots on the end of the arm where the headshell pins things slot in are slightly off centre
