btw i know there's a slightly doggy kick drum i just forgot to take it out

A few splashy cymbals/breaks under the drums. Bit of reverb? Few fx noises?
Play around with a few things like this.
Pretty good for an early effort, keep it up.

iv never used reverb on the drums before tbh, could you please explain how i'd go about that please? do i need a specific vst? iv made the drum pattern using audio placing each individual hit and theres one break in the background but you can hardly hear unless you listen really carefully. ill definetly start playing about with more fx aswell.
cheers for the feedback

I wasn't referring to reverb on the drums specifically. Just some in general. I think it just sounded a little dry over-all, but on second listen it probably suits your busy bassline.
If you don't have any reverb vst's at all have a look for some free ones, Google them. If you meant specific reverb for drums, I don't think so, just keep it subtle and probably leave the kick dry.
I like the tune, it makes me think gaming music.
