i got a 20W fm transmitter which is good for about 5kms, and me and a few mates are doing a few mixes and sending them out thru the local airwaves... but would also like to get them online...

In theory 20w should be able to broadcast 5km, but in practice it never does (unless you're in a totally flat desert or something equally unlikely)

Get yourself a fuckoff big antennae and a new transmitter from Veronica (http://www.aareff.com/ now apartently)

I have never bought a kit/transmitter from anywhere else, no need.

With regards to getting it onto a live stream, I'd take FM out of the loop and just connect right out of the main mixer.

    cheers for the help...

i'm in perth, western australia, and i can get 5kms out of a $300 transmitter and shit antenna - although it does get patchy from the 3.5-5km range... it claims to get 10km in a flat, low obstructed area if u get the antenna up high...

i have a new antenna on the way... we'll c how it goes...

    p-sout...
