Pioneer HDJ 1000 headphones

Dont buy them! Gone through 2 pairs in about 8 months, one pair snapped taking them off, and the replacements just gave up while i was mixing the other day, snapped in the same place. And thats studio use aswel, they've only been out about 3 times!

There's a lot fake HDJ 1000s about, seen some recently on ebay that were too cheap to be genuine. Im not suggesting anyone above has been done over, just a warning to anyone who may be tempted by a 'bargain'.

Although they are not the best looking cans, the sennheiser hd 25's just can't be beaten IMO, they are just so good.

Yea I've heard something about that, Both mine were genuine and they still broke though! Upgraded to the 2000's after the second pair went, so far so good....

I recently saw Randall (my all time hero) mixing and using some white fucking "Skull candy" things ?!?!
All i can say is they must be paying a shitload to use those pieces of poo.
