I bought one of these badboys yesterday and i've got a slight problem with it...

The right deck/channel plays fine, perfect actually. But the left channel/left deck is not as loud as the right channel.

Now, i've put the same tune on the left channel as i have on the right channel and it is STILL lower.

I've rewired the setup, my decks, amp, mixer etc but it's still the same.

What could be the problem?

Anyone?

turn the gains all the way to the left

do the white lines point to the same posistion?

if not the dial is not on correctly

possible simple solution

is the volume significantly lower? Or distored or anything?

I had a similar problem when I got my first mixer and this was due to a switch on the back switching between digital and analogue on the input

Yep, turntables.

I say left channel, i mean the left hand side. In this case, channel 2.

@ Teddy - How you mean the dial mate?

turn the gain knobs to the same level
on the back there should be a line/phono switch.turn them both to phono

dial as in your gain knob.. u can lift the knobs off and reposition them.

but more than likely as others have mentioned you havent turned the switch to phono on one of the channels
