Hi,

I've been mixing for 2 or 3 years now. Been using Numar Mixtrack controller, which I sold. I'd like to step up my game and get some proper decks, however, I can't afford full set of CDJs and mixer, so my question is, would it be possible to connect DJM600 with Traktor 2? You know, play tunes on traktor and EQ them on DJM. Later I'd get 2 CDJs when I save some more money.

Cheers

No this isn't possible. There is no MIDI connectivity with the DJM 600. Its either a controller or a super expensive mixer like an A&H DB:4.

Here is a list of the official Traktor compatible mixers

Just to be clear:
Nothing stops you from routing audio from your soundcard's analog outputs via a mixer and using it for mixing between two audio signals. What you can't do is to use the mixer to control the Traktor software.

I'm not sure if this gives any real value though. I'd just put the money on my savings account and keep on saving until you can buy the CDJs as well.

Consider going 2nd hand if you hadn't already. Good quality equipment will hold its value when bought second hand and will last
