    please don't answer if you just wanna rant about vinyls being better, i know this already.

    Have you had a look at the denon dns3500?
    Not used the pioneers but I've got a pair of Denons that are superb. They've got a direct drive platter, built in effects etc. They're not industry standard like the pioneers but a bit cheaper and got more features. Defo worth checking out.
