Pictures on the net..<<Problem>>

    Right
    Ive tryed really really hard to get some fukin flyers on the net, to add them to me sig, and generally post them to boards round..
    I got some webspace, ive d/l smartFTP..couldnt get my way round, d/l leapFTP, and i managed to upload the pics on the web, but now all i get are those very nice boxes instead of the flyers

    Does anyone know how to use that FTP shit? Or another way to put pics in the net??

    be careful when linking to the files with UPPER and lower case things

    well, to be honest, the proper address was ftp//. blah blah, and all it appeared with that was a link, so i thought, like the great hacker that i am..., to change that with http...
    does that make any more sense???

    Well, I doubt the address to your folder via HTTP will be exactly the same as the FTP address.

    For example, you might upload to ftp://coohost.com/web/users/gordo/ but the HTTP web address of that folder might be http://coolhost.com/gordo/

    oh , and one thing (i doubt its this but it's a small nasty thing)

    when you upload, is there an option to move the files as ASCII files or as binary files? If you move pictures as ascii, they go there but you can't see them !

    I nternet
    S ervice
    P rovider

    ...as in the company you lent, bought, borrowed, stole the webspace from. Usually means the company that you got your internet connection from. I say email their customer service or something and aks for help.
