photoshop question

    right, on photoshop,

    how do i crop around and image, i mean not in a square if ya get me, say i wanted to cut an image out or a picture with detailed edges, ya gets me?

    i dont know what the fuck its called knor do i know were the fuck to start lookin so i am starting here....

    Like with the free select tool? I don't use photoshop so dunno what they call it.. Maybe lasso or something? is that what you mean?

    yeah, the little lasso icon should apply what ya need... ya just draw it. there is also the majic wand tool, which selects areas of similar colour (you set the threshold)

    press P, brings up the Pen tool, then click around the thing you want to select, at the end right click and Make Selection (or something similar.. cant remember without loading photoshop, and im lazy). Better than the lasso tool imo because sometimes that fucks up halfway through the selection and you have to start over.

    I use masking, if you press Q (to start the mask) and then select the brush you can just brush round what you don't want (or do want and then invert the selection later) then when you press Q again it will all be highlighted.

    You can also use the polygonal or magnetic lassoo tool, both are fairly easy to use. To select them you click and hold on the normal lassoo, and the options should come up.
    I prefer the magic wand personally (oi oi)
