Fusing elements of classic jungle with the melodic tones of Liquid DnB, the Liquid V sound has become synonymous with timeless, chilled DnB. After a 2012 which saw huge releases from the likes of dRamatic & dbAudio, Savage Rehab and Critycal Dub, V Recording’s sister label started 2013 with a bang with Mr Joseph’s huge ‘Floating Island EP’. Now Liquid V is set to release the ‘Funkster EP’ from the legend Peshay.

Respected worldwide for his releases on labels such as Metalheadz, Good Looking, Mo Wax and Island to name a few, DJ Peshay’s critically acclaimed ‘Miles From Home’ is still regarded as one of the scenes most important releases. A winner of the hotly contested Drum & Bass category of the DJ Awards in Pacha Ibiza, Peshay has remixed for the likes of John Coltrane, Photek, Carl Craig, Goldie, LTJ Bukem, DJ Shadow, and even had time to start his own label, ”Peshay Music".

Now the distinguished producer steps up to Liquid V for the stunning 'Funkster EP'. Six tracks of jazz-infused Drum and Bass, whether it’s the brass powered groove of ‘Funkster', the vivid orchestral notes of ‘Together' or the soulful sounds of 'Fall For You' - this latest release from Liquid V will be spicing up sets across the globe.

ah good. there is already a thread.
this ep is just too good.
with the exception of "together" (just not to my liking) all the tracks are amazing.

there isn't enough of these vibes floating about. reminiscent of the classic peshay and some ez rollers records.
