Over the last year I have done a series of mixes under the title 'Drop The Hammer' where I have dug through my crates to find older breaks, electro, and now drum n' bass tunes to put onto mixes. This mix, recorded last month, features drum n’ bass from the early part of this decade, with every tune featured here released between 2000 and 2003.
It's mainly a nostalgia trip for me, since it was these tunes that got me back into dnb after several years of losing interest. I've tried to mix it up a bit, with some (relative) obscurities as well as big massive anthems. I've also done two mini tributes within the mix, to Dillinja and Total Science.
