I would imagine they meant it's not something they sell, but as I said in my above post some of them don't even own computers, so they don't have a clue about anything that's not mentioned on the show cards.
A mate of mine worked for them and rinsed the place dry.. Inhouse security was a joke, I'm not complaining mind
I manage a small independant computer shop, and I get 5+ people a day in complaining about PC World, but that's life, once you piss someone off, they ain't going back..
It's hard trying to sell decent quality laptops to people who don't know PC stuff, when they say they can buy a faster machine for £100 more new from PC World. After explaining to them Advent/Packard Bell machines are shite, they usually give in.
The one snidey trick is to openb the big fuck off safe where we keep all the customers machine in for repair. 40-50 clone PC world stylee lappies and about 3 Dell or equivalent, that usually closes the sale
