Outlook Festival Croatia

Outlook, the world's biggest and best Dubstep festival returns for its second year to the sunkissed shores of Croatia. Perfect sunshine. Clear seas. Beach bars. Pool parties. Boat raves... the scene is set for another epic session in the sun.

For those who don't know, Outlook is possibly the most ambitious project yet to emerge from the rapidly growing UK dubstep scene. With last year's sell out lineup, Outlook established itself as the pioneer of the Dubstep Festival. The idea behind the festival stems from a season of raving underground in dark and dingy venues only exarcebated by the English weather. So a move to the sunny climes of the Adriatic coast with a lineup representing the cream of the Dubstep scene was a logical progression. Accordingly, this festival isn’t settling amongst the ranks, but taking the lead.

N-type, who you may have seen traipsing affably around the site, said this: “I was in the sea with Hatcha and there was a beach bar blaring out dubstep. The party boat was just mooring. The sun was shining, and I turned to Hatcha and said ‘look at the state of dubstep now.”

Rusko, one of the scene’s shining stars said: “Outlook was completely different, everyone was there together with no segregation between artists and fans, and that type of vibe was amazing.” For other attendees, the prospect of Outlook last year was too ideal and too quick- thinking to miss. A whole festival in the sun, with a relentlessly tasteful lineup and novelty parties on boats?

This year Outlook promises a bigger line- up. The festival will be showcasing the best in Drum & Bass, Reggae/Dub and Hip Hop, with the Dubstep being provided by an all star lineup including Digital Mystikz, Hatcha, N-Type and Plastician to name a few. Other notable acts will be Foreign Beggars, Task Force, Jehst and Eksman with a veritable armada of Mcs and DJs from across the genres.

But if the stellar line- up is not enough to tempt you away from the standard muddy- field trudgery of the British festival, then lets set the scene. The island of Pag, dubbed the ‘Ibiza of Croatia’ on the Adriatic has the clearest water in the Mediterranean, with beaches stretching far along an unspoiled coastline. Getting there is cheap, with returns from under £60 from the Uk (insert html). For the more adventurous(read fun) there is the Sunshine bus, taking you and like minded revellers across Europe straight to the site, tunes and drinks will be the order of the journey getting you into the spirit. Once you’re there, there is a range of accommodation options to suit both champagne and beer tastes (see website for full details).

Finally there are the boat parties... ah the boat parties. Set sail on the party boat with DJs and Mcs, drinks and a stocked BBQ, cruise the Adriatic for a day and return after a session in the sun to a session in the club. Also this year we are upping the ante with ATVs, mopeds, bungee jumps and much more mayhem.

This is one weekender that will not only mark you down as a witness to a musical revolution, but as a main component of it. Want to feel that sun, hear those tunes and keep these memories forever? Then change to a sunnier Outlook and join us in Croatia.
