AFT Records are back with more great music, this time with a superb double side from Stanza.

New music from Stanza is always widely greeted with excitement from across the scene, earlier in his career he released a string of hard hitting emotive music on labels such as Hospital, Drum and Bass Arena, Differnt & Mainframe and built a steady following of support not just for his production but for his technically superb DJ sets.

The A-side False Promise is a joint effort from himself & Jnr Blue which kicks off by the track ticking and bleeping into life, before blooming out into an old skool-tinged groove with a haunting vocal setting the stage. Rising synths add into the mix alongside the drums, before the proceedings are ramped up in a big way with echoing saws and rough, tough bass pressure.

P Jazz, meanwhile, begins with some amazing removed piano notes which soon move centre stage, along with Stanza's trademark well-developed drums and some emotive sample snatches. The low end rumbles into view, but it's the evolution of the expression which grabs you on this one.
