So i have always been a Shure M447 man myself, but i decided to sort my decks with and extra technic and stuff. so i I like my decks to be aesthetically pleasing and well as being a top spec. so i splashed out and bought 3 Ortofons and they look belting. now i have had my set up since last august, and here it is.... Now since i have installed the Ortofons I have had to replace the stylus 5 times on 3 needles, because when i spin my tune back to find my cue point the needle will sometimes drop off the record and the actuall needle will catch on the strobe bit of the platter and totally fuck it up and bend it, that then cuts out frequencies and its fucking pissing me off, at 40 nicker and stylus i cant keep replacing them. now i dont seem to recall them jumping off the edge of any record except my Traktor timecode wax. has anyone experienced this before? any info or just dust off my 447s?
