Origin Unknown - Valley of the Shadows (Tom James 2013 Remix) [FREE]

As it's 20 this year, thought I'd have a go at remixing it (carefully).

This is pretty much the final edit, the "long dark tunnel" sample was a bitch and doesn't exist anywhere on the net (along with the original video it's from) and I ended up filtering it from the original, so now it's pretty much finished.

Not bad at all mate, I don't think the vocals you have tried to fit in around 3:20 sound right probably because you have had to filter them so much.

I think the track would work just as well if you used a different vocal sample similar to the one on the intro.
 
Yeah I only added them earlier after finally getting one good enough (well one at all really) to use. It's funny 'cause after 3 days of searching for it, I don't really like it in the track (only because as you said it's filtered to f**k).

I was happy with it before I added that sample so I'll have another play around

It will give it more of a modern twist if you use a different yet similar style sample
 
I like it. Out of interest where does the original sample come from? Could you link the video? You've made me want to draw for my Mantis Strikes Remix now :)
