Liking the tune mate, some people when they try and make jazzy drum & bass they get all cheesy and that but youve got it practicly spot on. I also like how it slowly progresses into a more grimier tune. Quality mate. Keep 'em comin'!

Nice intro. V.nice sounds. All the far eastern percussive sounds are pretty original in the background. Smooth around the edges was a good description mate. Like it.
    peace!

Just listened to halfpipedub too. Like the melodies in that one mate. What instrument sounds are you using?

All the sounds in halfpipe dub are made from audio i recorded from my local halfpipe - i recorded stomps, grinds, pings etc., then took em home, cut em up and processed them to fuck - the bass is made by zooming far into the soundwaves until you find just one (it looked a bit saw-ish!) then setting loop-points, looping in a sampler then doing what youd do to any synth!
any other questions on the sounds i will be happy to answer matey!
glad you like peace out j
