Dub Cutz has all grown up and matured as it finally turns 18, or rather we have reached the eighteenth Dub Cutz podcast which began around three years ago or so. How time has flown by so quickly and hopefully we have managed to continue to deliver new cutting edge drum and bass from all over the globe. We have specially picked out 26 tracks for this new show taking you through a journey of light, deep and dark in May 2016.
Dub Cutz volume 18 showcases a brand new one from ourselves by the name of Hiraeth feat. Forest Fawn, taking us back to the more mainstream dancefloor end of the spectrum. A few shows back we included the instrumental of this track but at the time it hadn't actually been named. Forest Fawn provided us with a recorded set of vocals specifically written for the track and it was only weeks ago that the new vocal edition was born.
In addition to our new track, we feature a couple of exclusive pre-release tracks in the latter part of the mix, firstly from R-Monix with his track Retro Grade due out in July on Offworld Recordings. Following this a little later we also give great pleasure in showcasing Kyrad's new track Through My Eyes due out in August later this year on Beatalistix Records.
Free and PWYW content is also featured throughout the mix firstly with Cyantific's bootleg Drum & Bass mix of Deadmau5 - Some Chords. Later we feature Liquid Waves - Autumn Groove available to download directly from Atmomatix Records page. Finally a mention should go out to Wavevision who have released an excellent pay what you want based album on Band Camp called Inhale - Demrus. Find links below to these tracks.
