I've been looking around and have narrowed down my list that I'm interested in.
I'd love to hear from anyone who has any of these:

Any advice is greatfully received.

id go for the yamaha's... ive heard the 8" model of them & they are decent!
the krk's are nice but i think the yams edge it.

If you can push to it KRK rokit 8 g2's are amazing. The 5's are still sick though.

Both the yamaha's & KRK's are very good for the price.. i wouldnt buy any of the others from that list.

u'd be happy with either of these 2 ;)

never heard any of them but ive heard great things about the tapco's and the krk's... also heard so many good things about the yamaha's older brother, HS80, so guess these would be pretty good too

your best bet would be to find a shop that sells all three and go and demo them

also look for reviews and especially mentions on forums... demoing them in a shop will let you know what they sound like but getting some info from round the net will help you find out about whatever faults or bad points they may have

edit...
oh, i wouldnt touch the studiospares ones... studio monitors are precision instruments... not just speaker cones stuck inside mdf boxes.... just cos they look like NS10's it certainly dont mean they will sound like them

oh, and they are passive too
