Recently, I completed a cooperative experience with an software firm in Southern California (yes, I am willing to relocate), where I was given the responsibility of working in a 3 man team on a small project using SQL, Visual Basic, and MS Access using ADO, DAO, ACTIVE X, DLL's and classes. I held a "Secret" clearance from 1980-1985. I am looking for the opportunity to perform in this capacity for your company. I believe my background and experience will help me be an asset to your company in a very short time.

Here is more detail on the DOD software I wrote and maintained.
The project was Visual Basic 6 and ADODB Database plus other methods of dealing with a recordset of more than 20 million records. I authored, wrote and maintained this code over an 8 year duration. The purpose of it was inventory most of the NSN (National Stock Number)database representing all of the military's equipment. The secondary purpose was to match these numbers to he acquistion side (procurement) through DRMS Defense Utilization and Marketing Group) under DLA (Defense Logistics Agency). The project required many "modules" to be integrated and to allow easy addition and removal of modules with much code reuse and an emphasis on debugging simplicity. It was a robust application in that it had almost zero downtime and could absorb an nlimited number of records as it used a binary search method (read only).
I have conducted database programming assignments, articipated in software layout, and performed design for a national software product. I was given the responsibility of producing a general lay-out for a new isual interface for that product. After studying the equirement I wrote thousands of lines of de-bugged code which were added to the product. My programmin skills are excellent and I am very conscientious about meeting deadlines and completing tasks unsupervised. If given the opportunity to accomplish an assignment, I can develop a plan that will meet the needs of the project.
For convenience, I have included a short resume at the bottom of this email below in plain text, as well as an attached HTML version.
I write database applications web-based and for in- ouse Office use as well using Visual Basic,SQL,ODDC,ADODB,DAO,Active X, DLL,Class,Microsoft Access,Crystal Reports,.Net Framework,XML,PHP, MySql, VBScript,ASP nd Java. These Websites are available for live demonstration on request.
Please feel free to retain this resume in your database if equirements matching my skills come up, or for distribution to other recruiters.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing rom you.
    Sincerely, James Hecht
