Out of curiosity; are there any old skool radio stations on the airwaves now? Over in the states (in the NYC & NJ area) we had 98.7 KISS FM (yeah, we had our version) that up until last year was playing '80s - mid '90s hip hop, rap, and house music. Then they merged with 107.5 WBLS FM which plays new crap mixed in with '80s and '90s music. On Friday and Saturday nights they have a show called Golden Era radio. With all that said, is there anything like this for hardcore/drum 'n bass?

Most old skool stations tend to be internet based nowadays but there are still a couple which broadcast via FM aswell as online..

    Rude FM 88.2 [DnB/Jungle] http://www.rudefm.com/
    Kool FM 94.6 [DnB/Jungle/Old Skool] http://www.koollondon.com/
    Flex FM 99.7 [House/Garage/Old Skool/DnB/Dubstep ect] http://www.flexfm.co.uk/
    Flight FM 101.7 [DnB] http://www.flightfm.co.uk/
    Origin FM 95.1 [DnB/Old Skool] http://originfm.net/

Flex FM has old skool on sundays,Kool has a mixture of old skool and jungle throughout the week but sunday mornings is strictly old skool (Chase 9:30am - 11 ish :rambo:) and Origin has some wicked shows on during the week plus some big names Bryan G,Randall,Ray Keith.Oh and can't forget Uncle Dugs on Rinse FM 106.8 on friday mornings.

That's awesome! Yeah I gotta tune into the internet stations more often than I do. KOOL FM and Origin FM are both stations that I heard about back in the day. I like the idea of old skool on Sunday mornings. Back when I was much younger, it would be around the time I would be getting home from an all nighter in the city (NYC). LOL
