I think I got a tricky one here but I am trying to find the name of the song that samples ‘Shai If I Ever Fall in Love’


And has the lyrics

The very first time

But no it was not it, the only common part was that chipmunk??? kinda sample that’s in heaps of old skool tunes

I at least was able to get it uploaded anyway so thats a start. Had to transfer tape to DVD but could not get the extracted without it distorted so thats why its got no vid as its audio off DVD. Its not my area of expertise LOL.

I've heard that before but I don't know the ID for it..sounds a bit like Dextrous?? ,I would be surprised if it is later than 1995 tho.

All i know is its no newer than the date of that set in 96. I first heard it in 2003 or 4 some time because they were broadcasting some dance eevent in Sydney? at at the last minute LTJ Bukem did not want his set broadcast so JJJ pulled out the DJ Vision set from the archives and i fell in love with it. One of my most favourite jungle sets ever.

Yeah you could be right, that link you posted sounds more like it. I will throw that into 'whosampled' and see what that throws out.
