    Anyone seen it?

It's Korean and pretty mental to say the least. I don't go in for torture horror stuff (and this isn't one of them) more like physcological revenge thriller with lashings of brutal.

Been on Film4 this week, but I missed first 15 minutes but thought I'd give it a go, pretty hardcore. Fella's been imprisoned for 15 years and had his memory blanked (I think) when he gets out he's hellbent on tryna work out who locked him up and unleashing revenge, but he's obviously super-paranoid and can't trust anyone. But I was too tired to watch til 1:30 (had to get up early next day) so thought nah, will DL it or get dvd cheap and do it justice.

Then it was on again last night, watched 1st 10 minutes to try and make more sense, but again though nah, gonna DL or find DVD. :rinsed:

one of the best films i've ever seen. part of a series of sorts, the other films include - ' Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' which is before old boy, and ' Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' which is after.

don't really wana talk about it as it sounds like you haven't seen it all and others might not have.
but it is blatantly one of the 10 films i'd say you NEED to see in your life time.

Absolutely fantastic film. The fight scene in the hallway with the side on view was a work of directing genius.

Saw it last week, rated it, love the dark twist in there. If only more films were as good as this.

    Yeh, lovew this film.

Breakneck, if your blockbuster has a World Cinema section, it will have at least 2 copies of this.

There's a really good discount DVD & CD shop that I walk past to & from work on way to station . Really good World / Asia section and stuff's cheap, will see if they've got it. Prolly be £2 or £3 if they have.

    If not. DL.

Got Ong Bak & Warrior King box set for £4 last week!

    They should have it then.

It's among one of the biggest films you'll find in World Cinema sections

Quality film, nd yeah love the dark twist at the end. Pretty surreal in some places aswell.
Recently watched Ichi the Killer on dvd aswell, great great film. Violent as hell aswell, if anyones into extreme asian cinema you gotta see it, probably got the coolest guy in cinema history in it n'all.
