Right peeps, as 2002 draws to a close which tunes have been rocking you the most over the last 12 months??? And I dont mean your current top 3, your overall top 3 of the whole year! For me, it would have to be:

    1. 'Return of Forever' - High Contrast (still gives me goosebumps!)

    2. 'Barcelona' - Mindmachine/Epsilon (cant believe its still not out!)

    3. 'Fallin' - Raiden (most melodic tune Ive heard in a while)

    and '3am' coming in a close 4th....

1). Monkey Buisness "Too Much" (Full on chipmonks, what a vibe!)
2). Digital "True Natty" (Those rave keys are beautiful!!!)
3). Aqua Sky "Minder" (A perfect blend of tech house and 1992)

Best tunes of the year (for me). This past summer was also the best summer I've had since..... ohh I don't know... 1992. I seriously enjoyed the summer. I think because I spent alot of time at the beach and I listened to my Shore Thing mix all summer in my car.

This came out last summer. I thought it was terrible, I'm surprised you rate it so highly.

Funny that my 2 favourite tunes are by Universal Project 'cos I ain't really feeling any of their other tunes that much.

    Just 3 ?!?!?!?!

    1) MIST + High Contrast - "3 AM" - (Waited so long, and it is still good!)

    2) D Kay - "Quiet Earth" - (This drop was so different, it worked everytime. Biggup D Kay and the ill.skillz crew)

    3) High Contrast - "Return of Forever" - (Biggup Mulla! this tune 0wn3d me for a few weeks)

    if I had 2 more:

    4) Roni Size - "Sound Advice" - (This is Roni at his best, IMHO)

    5) Marky and XRS - "Closer" - (Killer drums and bassline make the party happen)

This took me like 30 minutes! What a year!

Due to my skint condition, I couldn't buy much of anything. But HC's album was one of the CD's I bought.

That tune rules. Period. He keeps this up and I'll be wild about his stuff like I am about Amon Tobin now.

    Hmmm, that is too hard...

Too much good stuff around this year

My fave track of the year is probably 3am but it would be too hard to pick another two to follow....

Was "Through The Eyes Of A Scorpion" this year? Whatevs, that album's excellent, and the mix that comes with it is killer, too.
